How to add and manage departure groups in the SmartStubs Web Application

Departure Groups are used to organize occurrences (trips) into logical groupings for use within the SmartStubs Mobile Application.

Departure Groups are used to organize trips by direction of travel. Departure Groups should be named based on the intended structure such as "Braintree - Logan | Northbound" or "Logan - Braintree | Southbound".

Creating Departure Groups

Navigate to Management > Inventory > Groupings > Add Departure Group and give the departure group a description. Once a group is created it must be assigned to trips at the occurrence level using the occurrence management workflow. Once a Departure Group is assigned to an occurence, it will become available within the SmartStubs Mobile Application.

Disabling Departure Groups

Departure Groups can be disabled at any time by switching the Active toggle in column two (2) within the Groupings menu. Disabled departure groups will not show within the SmartStubs Mobile Application.
